Privacy Policy

This site uses no third-party cookies, embeds no third-party analytics and does no cross-site tracking. We use two first-party identifiers, with separate purposes and separate legal bases. This page describes exactly what the site does, nothing more.

Always: abuse control (legitimate interest)

To protect the public chat from floods and automated abuse, your browser locally computes a technical signature (the open-source ThumbmarkJS library: signals like canvas, WebGL, fonts and screen). That signature:

  • · stays in page memory only and is never stored in your browser without consent;
  • · travels as a header only on calls to the chat and the site's API;
  • · is immediately reduced to a hash on the server and used only to partition rate limits (together with the IP address); it lives in server memory for windows of minutes and is not written to the database;
  • · may appear truncated in short-lived operational security logs.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service available. It does not identify you as a person and is not used for advertising or profiling.

Only with your consent: recognizing your visits

If you accept the privacy notice, we store a random identifier (UUID) in your browser's local storage and record: pages visited, arrival referrer, approximate duration (in ranges), language, the chat sessions you open and, if you give it to us, your email address. The technical signature is then associated with that record for a single purpose: recognizing you as the same visitor if your browser clears its data.

If you do not accept (or if you revoke), we store no identifier in your browser other than the decision itself, no browsing data is sent, and the local identifier is removed. The theme preference (light/dark) also uses local storage; it is strictly functional.

The chat

Messages you write in the chat are processed with an AI model to answer you and are kept as the session transcript. Do not put sensitive data in the chat. If during a conversation you agree to be contacted and share your email, it is stored with your visit record.

Your choices and rights

You can change or revoke your decision at any time:

To access, export or delete the data associated with your visits (including your email if you shared it), write to contact@techxagon.io and we will handle your request.
